Just over a week from our disasters with the flood waters, and the weather in Derbyshire has shown some improvement. In spite of the odd wet day landscaping and gardening of our newly aquired land has continued. Guests at our self catering cottages will benefit from the extra pastureland and gardens to wander and enjoy. We are currently force feeding all our guests with buckets full of home grown tomatoes, the chickens however seem to be on strike and egg production has almost though not quite ground to a halt.
