Centrally located just outside the historic market town of Ashbourne, Derbyshire and edging the magnificent Peak District National Park, we are the perfect location for exploring all this beautiful county has to offer. Our property sits in a lovely rural setting within 10 acres of private pastureland and beautifully landscaped,  flower filled walled gardens. For lovers of nature we have a small wildlife lake with stunning views across the valley.

This is a great area for walking and  cycling and is just 2 miles from the pretty and historic market town of Ashbourne, we are 9 miles from Matlock, 20 miles from Buxton and 14 miles from Bakewell.  Carsington Water is just 4 miles and we are just 30 minutes from Alton Towers.  For lovers of historic houses we are lucky to have Chatsworth House,  Kedleston, Hardwick, Haddon, Sudbury and  Haddon Halls close by with Calke Abbey and Bolsover Castle a short drive. There are many other places to visit, with many museums and activity centres.

For those of you lucky enough to be enjoying retirement, we have plenty of mid weeks available throughout the year for you to take advantage of.

Start your day with a delicious home cooked breakfast. We use locally reared, rare breed meats  and produce with home produced eggs from our friendly chickens. We can cater to special requirement breakfasts and notice must be given for this.

All rooms are ensuite, fully centrally heated and have LCD TVs with freeview, hair dryers and  Wi Fi provided.
Tea and coffee making facilities are provided. Evening meals may be arranged to suit and packed lunches can be provided by request. These must be booked in advance.

A sauna and hot tub are  available for your use by request and with  a minimal charge per person.
