About Offcote Grange Cottage Holidays Offcote Grange Cottage Holidays is a family run business specialising in luxury 5 star self catering accommodation near the Peak District, located within central Derbyshire. Two large, individual self catering cottages comprise the business at present, Hillside Croft a pretty 5 star traditional sandstone holiday cottage located on the outskirts of the village of Hulland Ward just 5 miles from Ashbourne, and Billy's Bothy a mellow red brick self catering holiday cottage in the grounds of Offcote Grange our family home, located just 2 miles from the historic market town of Ashbourne. Staying in our beautiful self catering accommodation edging the Peak District will provide you with the perfect base to explore and in which to wine and dine or simply relax with friends and family. Both of our quality self catering holiday cottages are peacefully located at the edge of the Peak District National Park and have private, rural locations. Both holiday cottages are child friendly and suitable for those of you who have limited mobility, though unfortunately we are not suitable for full wheelchair access. This area offers some of the most beautiful scenery in England and we would like to extend to you some of the best self catering accommodation in the Peak District and Derbyshire. Pat and Chris Walker live at Offcote Grange ,a beautifully proportioned, historic grade II listed 17th century Derbyshire farmhouse. A former coaching stop and large farmhouse with accommodation the Grange nestles quietly amidst lush rolling pastureland, peacefully grazed by sheep and cattle.Our beautiful Peak District holiday cottages are surrounded by green fields and overlook the Henmoor Valley and Bradley woods, the views from the house are outstanding. The Grange has a large walled garden now restocked with many unusual plants, this is private but may be walked around by arrangement, visitors should be aware that we are currently landscaping around this exceptional country house. For self catering accommodation bordering the magificent Peak District National Park ,in a glorious location that is the perfect base from which to explore the wonderful scenery, historic buildings, attractions and activities that Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Nottinghamshire have to offer, then you must choose Offcote Grange Cottage Holidays. The next five years will see the completion of Henmoor View located in the main house at Offcote Grange, those of you who enjoy watching our restoration project and progress will be welcome to visit and have a bevvy at any time.
